2010 AAU Tackle Football, Girls Invitational Flag Football and Football Cheer Championships.
National Dates: December 27, 2010 through December 30, 2010
Where: Finals Municipal Stadium, Daytona Beach Florida
The host facility for the 2010 Championships is the newly renovated Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Stadium has been entirely renovated and is now a Field Turf facility. The AAU events will be part of ‘The Battle at the Beach 2010’ and will include the National All American Combine as well as the MAXXSCOUT 2010 High School All American Game, a 7TH Grade Game, and 8th Grade Game.
The events kick off with the Coaches meetings and will run throughout the week with games beginning Monday & Tuesday. The final event kick-off being the HS All American game on Friday 12/31 at 4pm. We are working with the promoter to see exactly how many of the events will be televised if not broadcast live as part of the All-American Game pre-game information.
The AAU Finals will again be webcast on the Florida Youth Sports Network live as they are played, Thursday December 30th.
AAU Coaches interested in submitting players for consideration for the 7th Grade Game or 8th Grade Game or High School Senior ALL-AMERICAN GAME may send tape OR You-Tube Link to or contact Steve DeLuca (info below). The ALL-AMERICAN GAMES WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 31ST, 2010.

AAU Girls Flag Football National Championship
The inaugural high school girls flag football National Championship is being held August 14 & 15 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This tournament is the first of it kind, giving girls on High School Teams a chance to participate, compete and hone their skills during the summer months.
Tournament Director, Austin Bowe, announced teams from Seminole Ridge and Alonzo High School will be participating to hoping win the National Championship Title. These two teams competed against each other in the Florida State Championship game for Florida High Schools. This championship is shaping up to be the pinnacle event for girls involved both recreationally and on competitive high
school teams.
The following three divisions are filling up fast: Woman's Div, 19U, 19U rec division, and 13U divisions.

AAU is proud to welcome the Kissimmee Youth Football League to our new Central Florida Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference.
AAU is nationally recognized for its strong commitment to youth sports and has created successful, competitive teams and leagues in multiple sports. In partnership with USA Football, AAU has created a Nationally Standardized Rule Book that is already successful in building football leagues in other parts of the nation. AAU recognizes the talent and passion for tackle football in the state of Florida and is excited about the quality football that will be on display in this new conference. The new Central Florida Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference will produce champions to compete in the AAU National Youth Football Championship Tournament against the other established AAU Football leagues. As AAU embarks on creating a fun and competitive football conference in Central Florida, it is looking for established organizations that put the kids first, have a commitment to excellence on and off the field, and a track record of high standards of conduct for its coaches, fans and players. Tim Tebow - 2007 AAU Sullivan Award Winner Drafted
In Round One of the NFL 2010
The NFL draft took place on April 22, 2010 where many young, promising athletes awaited their professional future. Among those athletes was Tim Tebow, the outstanding quarterback from the University of Florida.
The Denver Broncos surprised many observers by drafting Tim Tebow in the First Round as the overall 25th pick. An emotional Tebow got the news with friends and family in Florida. “Only one team has to want you,” Tebow said. “This time it was a great coach in coach McDaniels. I am so blessed to go there.”
As the AAU Sullivan Award Recipient in 2007 as the Amateur Athlete of the Year, the Amateur Athletic Union would like to congratulate Tim Tebow on this great success and step into the next phase of his football career. All of the AAU and especially the youth Football participants will enjoy watching Tebow show his leadership and athletic ability in the National Football League.
