ORLANDO, Fla. – AAU Football held their National Championship Series in their respective locations in early December. The AAU Unrestricted Football National Championships took place on Saturday, December 7 – Sunday, December 8 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The following week AAU Football hosted their premier AAU League Based Football National Championships on December 10-15 in Haines City, Florida.
The event in Little Rock saw 21 teams compete for the championship title during their two days of play. The Whitehaven Ravens topped the 6U division after taking an unbeaten 2-0 record. In the 8U division, the Whitehaven Ravens also took home the gold after routing the Waco Southern Panthers, 26-6. The 10U Whitehaven Ravens were the third Raven team to find the top of the podium. They had a 4-1 record over the weekend and sealed the gold by blanking the Memphis Elite Buckeyes, 6-0. The Waco Southern Panthers defeated the Whitehaven Ravens in the 12U division to claim the Championship title in a close 13-6 game.

The AAU League Based National Championships completed its ninth year of competition, awarding four teams the title of “AAU National Champion.”
This year’s tournament kicked off at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida, and the championship games were hosted by Feltrim Sports Village in Haines City, Florida.
This year the event saw 35 teams through five days of competition, totaling 987 athletes and 213 coaches. Nine different states were represented- Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The Macon United Hurricanes took home the 8U National Championship trophy after a hard fought 14-6 victory over the West Orange Bobcats. In the 10U division, the West Columbia Tigers shut out the Future Stars United Seminoles, 38-0. The Seminoles Sharks clenched the 12U National Championship Title in a close-call game, 48-40, against the West Orange Bobcats, and the 14U East Orlando Preds took home their first National Championship trophy with a 35-21 win over the Seminoles Sharks.
