More than 40 teams will take the field for the second year of the AAU Spring Tackle National Championships in Davenport, Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – More than 40 teams will take the field for the second year of the AAU Spring Tackle National Championships. Davenport, Florida (just outside of Orlando) will play host to the 2022 AAU Spring Tackle Football National Championships where teams will hope to walk away with gold.
Teams will be competing across nine divisions, starting from 7 & under to 14 & under. Last year in the inaugural AAU Spring Tackle National Championships, the Royal Hornets, Kingsway Dragons, North Carolina United, Jacksonville Storm, East Carolina Alpha Dawgs, and Junior Hawks walked away with bragging rights as National Championships.
Games will be played at the Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida. These new fields have hosted magical youth sporting moments and this weekend a new moment for AAU Football will be made. Pool play will begin Tuesday, June 21 with Championship games taking place on Saturday for 7u-10u, and Sunday for 11u-14u.
North Carolina United comes in as the top ranked 10u team in the AAU Tackle Football National Rankings for the East and the Junior Hawks currently sit in the number one spot for the 13u national rankings. Find out if they are able to defend their AAU Spring Tackle National Championship titles or if there will be a shift in the power rankings.
