Teams traveled to Davenport, Florida for the 2nd AAU Spring Tackle Football National Championship

DAVENPORT, Fla. – The hot Florida sun was shining down on the fields at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida. The weather was warm and the play on the field was blistering. Teams made the trip with hopes of winning the 2022 AAU Spring Tackle Football National Championship.
Winning teams in each division earned a National Championship trophy, medals, and a championship ring.
Games started on June 21 with pool play leading up to the championship games on June 25 and 26. The new turf fields at the Northeast Regional Park played host to the action. Teams were split into divisions starting at 7u up to 14u.
A few teams stood out during the weekend and were able to walk away with championship gold. The Treasure Coast Patriots dominated the 12u division, becoming back-to-back Spring Tackle Champions. The East End Tigers earned their title in the 8u division. Olympus Football was eating donuts and winning championship rings in the 7u division. . In the 14u division, a well-coached Virginia Vipers Henrico team took the field against the SL Spartans and became national champions after the final whistle was blown in one of the most exciting games of the tournament.
