Forty-two (42) teams will be traveling to Davenport, Florida for a chance to be an AAU National Champion

DAVENPORT, Fla. (December 2, 2022) – For the 14th year of the tournament, the AAU League Based National Championships will kick off in Davenport, Florida on December 6, 2022. Forty-two (42) teams will make their way to Northeast Regional Park in hopes of walking away with an AAU National Championship.
Teams from around the country are making their way to Davenport with one goal in mind: win. Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Arkansas, and Washington DC will all be represented at the 2022 AAU League Based Football National Championships.
This marks the 8th year that Davenport, Florida will play host to the championships. However, this year has a new twist. All Championship games will be played at Bryant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida. Bryant Stadium is home to the Lakeland High School Dreadnaughts. The Lakeland Dreadnaughts are 7-time Florida State Champions in football and have alumni such as Mike and Maurkice Pouncey who had successful careers in the National Football League (NFL). Athletes will be able to play on the same turf as some of the best players to come out of Florida.
Games will officially kick off with pool play starting on Wednesday, December 7 at 11 in the morning. Playoffs will begin on December 9 with Championship games at Bryant Stadium taking place on December 10 -11.
Teams will be split into 4 divisions, based on age: 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under, and 14 & Under. The Central Georgia Grizzlies will be coming into the 8U division as defending champions of the 7U division from last year. Multiple teams will be returning from last year looking to avenge losses and become new AAU National Champions of their age group.
